Team fee of $650 can be split with a $325 payment to hold a spot and the remaining $325 to be paid before the first game.  This league is a great way to get in some recreational fun and exercise with your friends, family, or co-workers. 

We are offering Gold, Silver and Bronze divisions at the Sports Center (6051 W 95 ^th Ave).  Please understand that depending on teams that register, some leagues may be combined. Games will start at 6:30p.m. for weeknight play and 2:00p.m. for Sunday games.

Pickleball Skills & Drills
Proud to be the host site of skills and drills with instructors from Front Range Pickleball Club. Equipment and instruction offered for all levels of players. Drop-in fee or Silver Sneakers Pass accepted.
Tuesdays 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and Thursdays 12 - 3 p.m. at City Park Recreation Center. Summer hours may vary.

Outdoor Pickleball Courts
Outdoor pickleball courts can be found at:

• Municipal Park, 3025 West 76th Avenue.  Dedicated pickleball courts with 6 courts, LED lights and covered seating area.
  • Courts are open for Drop in play from 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.
  • Courts are available for tournament rental.  If interested, please fill out the Pickle Ball Court Rental Request form.
  • All six courts are reserved for Adult Recreation Pickleball Leagues on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening from 5:30-10 p.m. beginning July 15 - September 26.
• Amherst Park, 13085 Pecos St (on the inline hockey surface). 
• Countryside Park, 10470 North Oak Street.  (on the lower tennis courts). 

Kits are available by calling the Recreation Specialist at 303-658-2207. Kits can be checked out for $5 per 2 hours (longer rentals need approval from the sports specialist).

Fall Softball

• Fee: $500 for Monday and Friday Nights (8 games). $250 non-refundable deposit secures a spot in the league.
• Fee includes games, umpire, field maintenance, access to Teamsideline.com/westminster, and individual awards for first-place teams.

Softball League Classifications
Help us help you! To balance our leagues and promote good competition and fun, it is extremely important that all teams register for the correct division. If you need help, just give us a call, and we will help place your team.

D-COMP (DC) (Summer only)
Competitive teams mostly consist of above-average players who have good skills. Teams may hit no more than three home runs per game. One-up rule applies after three home runs. 

D-REC UPPER (DRU)
Recreational teams with seven or more skilled players as the core who are solid players. The remaining members have the game knowledge but are not as proficient in either defensive or offensive skills. Teams may hit two home runs per game. 

D-REC LOWER (DRL) (A DIVISION)
Leisure teams consist of five to seven average-skilled players with the other half of the team consisting of lower-skilled players who are lacking in either defensive or offensive skills. These leagues are for teams that care about the results but are not competitive enough to play in the upper league. Teams may hit only one home run per game. 

D-REC LOWER (DRL) (B DIVISION)
Leisure teams consist of two to five average-skilled players with remaining players lacking in either defensive or offensive skills or new players. These leagues are for teams not overly concerned with the results. Teams may hit only one home run per game.

• Westminster was the home field for six senior softball teams in 2023.

The perfect way to get together with a few friends and get a good workout on a great court with qualified officials.

Adult Volleyball Classification

• BB Division - Employ power volleyball skills and use multiple offensive and defensive strategies. 
• B Division - Bump, set, and spike well; attempt to double block.  
• Must be 18 years old to play in adult leagues.

Senior Volleyball 

• Must be at least 50 years-young or turn 50 in the current calendar year to qualify as a senior volleyball player.
• The Senior Coed Volleyball (CSVA) teams are formed by the players. The players register individually with the City of Westminster as well as pay a team fee directly to CSVA. Teams will have City Park Recreation Center as home court and travel around Denver for the other matches.
• The women’s league is drafted by the league supervisor to try and promote balanced league play. Enjoy some court time with a great group of active gals!

Winter 2024 Senior Women’s Volleyball

• Format: 45 minutes skills & Drills, remaining 2.5 hours games
• Mondays: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
• $55 per player
