Westminster Med is a membership program designed to help individuals and families supplement the high cost of ambulance transportation that isn't covered through their medical insurance. The metro area median cost for an an ambulance transport is over $900. A Westminster Med annual membership provides emergency paramedic ambulance service for only $55 per family or $35 per individual. Westminster Med is not insurance and is not intended to be a substitute for insurance. The Westminster Med membership fee represents the pre-payment for the uninsured portion of the member's ambulance bill.
