Christopher Fields Softball Complex

Christopher Fields can accommodate softball, youth baseball and girls fast pitch with various base pegs, mounds and 300-foot outfield fences. Designed with players, spectators and families in mind, the complex features large dugouts, superb maintenance, superior infield mix, drinking fountains, shaded seating, picnic shelters, restrooms and vending areas. Christopher Fields is the perfect place for youth, adult or corporate tournaments.

*Once requested dates are officially approved, a $100 deposit will be required to hold each date for your organization. This deposit is non-refundable if the athletic field reservation is canceled fewer than three months prior to the event. If the event is canceled more than three months prior to the event, the full deposit will be refunded. Refunds, if applicable, will be refunded within 14 business days of the cancellation notice.

  • Christopher Fields rentals are for TOURNAMENTS ONLY.
  • We will begin taking tournament field requests for the 2023 season beginning December 5.
  • Applicants can expect to be notified of approval or denial of athletic field requests within 30 days of applying. 
  • Requests will continue to be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and will be allocated per City rental guidelines.
  • Applicant must be at least 21 years of age. 
  • Once dates are officially approved, a $100 non-refundable deposit will be required to hold each date for your organization. This deposit will be applied toward rental fees at the time of rental.

  • Fees include dragging of the fields, chalk, bases, lights and City staff on-site throughout the rental time.

  • **Once requested dates are officially approved, a $100 deposit will be required to hold each date for your organization. The City of Westminster is committed to the health and wellness of its citizens. We recognize the role that outside fitness provider’s play in assisting our citizens in their quest for a healthy life and welcome the use of our parks and trails to conduct training sessions.  

  • Permits are required for businesses who wish to use City Park and the grand staircase, are facilitating instructor-led classes for a fee, and draw more than five participants per class.
  • Classes can have a maximum of 40 participants per class. Classes larger than 40 participants will not be issued a permit.  
  • Permit fee for approved groups is $125/per permitted time and day slot, per year.
  • Applicants can expect to be notified of approval or denial of City Park use within 10 business days of applying. 
  • Requests will continue to be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and will be allocated per city rental guidelines.
  • Applicant must be at least 21 years of age
  • Instructors must carry permits at all times. An armband will be provided for instructor to wear during permitted times.
  • One permit and arm band will be included for each time slot awarded. There will be a $25 fee assessed for replacement permits.
  • Proof of liability insurance in the amount of $1 million is required for your permit and the city is to be listed as an additional insurer on the certificate of insurance. Please submit proof of liability insurance to the Westminster Sports Center, 6051 W. 95th Ave., or e-mail to fields@westminsterco.gov. Proof of liability insurance must be received prior to first day of classes.
  • Proof of Westminster business license must be on file with the city’s permitting office. Please submit a copy Westminster business license to the Westminster Sports Center, 6051 W. 95th Ave., or e-mail to fields@westminsterco.gov.
  • All permit holders facilitating instructor-led classes should maintain a national personal trainer or group fitness certification from a National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) recognized organization. 
  • A signed copy of Park Permit Agreement for use of City Park Grand Staircase and Park must be on file with the city’s permitting office. Please submit signed copy of agreement to fields@westminsterco.gov.

City Park Soccer Complex

City Park Soccer Fields

10475 Sheridan Blvd.

City Park Soccer Fields are conveniently located at the Northwest corner of 105th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard, just a quarter mile east of U.S 36. The large multi-use turf field is designed to feature four prescription soccer fields measuring 80 x 120 yards and can accommodate a variety of activities including soccer, ultimate Frisbee, football, lacrosse etc. 

Electricity and pavilion are also available for rent.

Dogs are not allowed in water play features.

The Longs Peak Event room at City Park Recreation Center is a 3,825-square-foot, tiled-floor room that is set on a hill, with scenic views of the Front Range. Just outside the room is a beautiful plaza area with a fountain.

The Plaza

A lovely space for an outdoor wedding ceremony alongside a fountain and open plaza area.

The Community Room at the Swim and Fitness Center is available for private rentals including birthday parties, showers, small family gatherings and more. The room capacity is 40 people and overlooks the pool area. Rectangular, square and round tables available for use. Beer and wine permits are available.

The MAC

Room Rental Information

The MAC is an affordable multi-purpose facility conveniently located off of Highway 36 and Federal Boulevard. The MAC has the perfect social atmosphere to ensure memories that will last a lifetime. Our friendly professional staff will assist in creating the ultimate group get-together for you and your guests.

Rooms are available for rent on Saturdays and Sundays and after 4:30 p.m. on Fridays.

Grand Ballroom

  • With 5,000 square feet of functional space the Grand Ballroom provides space for events as large as 250 guests. The Grand Ballroom is the perfect setting for weddings, receptions, meetings, conferences, church ceremonies, office parties, birthday parties, quinceaneras, concerts, holiday parties and more.
  • Additionally, the Ballroom offers an elevated stage and adjoining commercial kitchen and catering room.

Room Deposit $300

Hourly Room Rental Rate $250/Hour

Room fees are per hour or half hour. The room can be rented for any amount of time needed. The room needs to be entirely vacated by the contracted ending time. This includes all guests, caterers and disc jockeys. If the room is not vacated on time, late charges are applied and deducted from the damage deposit at the appropriate hourly rate.

Multipurpose Rooms

The MAC has two 800 square foot multi-purpose rooms, with maximum capacities of 35 guests in each room. There is also one 1,500 square foot meeting room with a divider, capable of accommodating up to 70 guests. The multi-purpose rooms are perfect for meetings, educational classes, arts and crafts classes, informal gatherings, or additional rooms for your wedding and reception. Rooms include a residential style sink with access to water. Some rooms include a dry erase board. Multipurpose rooms are only available during operating hours.

The Community Room at West View Recreation Center is a 2,000-square-foot, tiled-floor room with windows on the south and west sides. The room can comfortably seat 105 people with a dancing area and can seat 125 without a dancing area. The west windows provide spectacular views of the mountains. 

Rental Fees

  • Room Deposit: $200 - The room deposit is required at the time the room is booked and is refunded if there are no damages or late charges. The deposit is non-refundable if the room reservation is cancelled less than six (6) months prior to the event.  If the event is cancelled more than six (6) months prior to the event, the full deposit will be refunded. 
  • Room Rental Fees: - Business Hours: $150/hour (Monday - Friday 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday - Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.). After Hours Premium Rate: $200/hour (Monday - Friday 9 p.m. to 12 a.m.; Saturday - Sunday 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.) Room fees are per hour or half hour. The room can be rented for any amount of time needed. The room can also be rented late into the evening with the afterhours rate being in effect during the times shown. The room needs to be entirely vacated by the contracted ending time.
